Finally, I have a moment to post photos from the Anti-Valentine's Day Party and the Gaming Tournament! Both programs were a huge success.
First up, the Anti-Valentine's Day Party. Everyone had a great time mocking love and romance! To start, we made black roses from duct tape and pipe cleaners, followed by each person writing a really bad valentine and then everyone working together to write one really, really bad break-up letter. After the writing portion of the program we moved on to defacing the covers of several romance novels. Don't worry, no actual books were harmed at the Anti-Valentine's Day Party! Copies of the cover art were provided instead :-) And for the big finally, a guys vs. girls race to see which team could open a pile of Hershey's Kisses the fastest ... while wearing gloves. We only had time for two races and the guys won both rounds!

It was great to see both new and familiar faces at the gaming tournament. We set up brackets for Mario Kart, DDR and Guitar Hero. The competition was fierce throughout the three hour event, but in the end Collin (DDR), Chase (Mario Kart) and Emma (Guitar Hero) were the winners, each taking home a $10 gift card to EB Games! Look for another gaming tournament over spring break.
